How We Verify

How We Verify and Score Every Program

Every number comes from a school's own page, federal data or an accreditor's list.

  1. Start With Every Accounting Degree

We start with about 1,560 accounting bachelor's and master's programs that schools report to the federal government. Then we check each one's format, class times and start dates.

  2. Verify on the School's Own Pages

We read each school's program, tuition and admissions pages in October 2026. Every review links to the pages we used.

  3. Check Business Accreditation

We check every accreditation claim against the three business accreditors' official lists. Claims we can't confirm don't appear.

  4. Score and Rank Every Program

Each program earns a Program Score from the same published, weighted factors. You'll see the 100 best bachelor's and 50 best master's programs.
